AUTHENTIC SEACOAST INCREASES GUYSBOROUGH INVESTMENT

Guysborough, Nova Scotia –  Authentic Seacoast Company Ltd today announced its acquisition of 44 acres of undeveloped waterfront land adjoining its showcase distillery & brewery in Guysborough, Nova Scotia. This investment further demonstrates its longstanding commitment to Guysborough and to Nova Scotia.

Owner Glynn Williams said, “We are delighted to have acquired a beautiful neighbouring property from a private vendor. This well-forested property has 4,400 feet of pristine shoreline on secluded Mussel, Kingfisher and Sailor’s Coves and Guysborough harbour. Its acquisition will ensure that its natural beauty remains intact for future generations to come.”

Currently, visitors to the authentic seacoast are able to experience distillery and brewery tastings, and tours, stay at the newly renovated 10-unit Distillery House or in the vineyard at one of our 10 unique glamping sites. Sea kayaking and canoes are offered for rent along with bicycles at the distillery. Elegant accommodations, fine dining and culinary workshops are offered at DesBarres Manor Inn.

With the acquisition of this property, Authentic Seacoast intends to further enhance the visitor experience, by offering new walking and hiking trails and other outdoor adventures. In addition, enhancements to its private dock and Mussel Cove infrastructure are contemplated.
